Anna Sokolow's  Lyric Suite

Anna told me That Louis Horst reaction towards Lyric Suite was that she was now a choreographer with  language of her own.

Walking with Anna and looking through her eyes, her frame and focusing, how the trees grow with a steady breed, with its own tempo as something that move, how the branches are looking towards the sun and their relations this is  a part of Lyric Suite for me.

I like very much Lyric Suite because the main skill it demands from the Dancers is Sensitivity.
I like Anna's ability to express so much with her economical use of movement, every movement has a sincere meaning.
